International Professional Experience- Jordan

USAID Grant through IALC

New Mexico State University

Project titled, Sustainable Development of Arid Lands in the Country of Jordan.

Instructor (2008, 2009), Worked with Bedouin women to develop contemporary wool crafts

for international markets. Specific activities included teaching Bedouin on the use of carding,

spinning and weaving equipment, and designing products for sale to upscale foreign

consumers.

 (2009-Present) Bought Historic Building to fix and rent out Gallery and Studio space.

Studied Historic Masonry, Fresco, Secco, and Plaster Work.

 

Needlepoint  Designer

 (1992-Present) Create Custom Needlepoint Designs for the retail and wholesale market in Ohio,

Indiana and Kentucky.


Grant/Fellowships  

2008- 2009  USAID Grant to work with 4-person team from New Mexico State University

for work on Project titled,  Sustainable Development in the Country of Jordan.
